Can We Get This Show in the States?!

When waiting for your boyfriend to pick you up to go to Housing Works, what do you do? Why sip coffee and watch "Twiggy's Frock Exchange", of course

Shown on the BBC back in 2008, the premise is 100 women participate in one giant clothes swap, each donating 5 items of clothes to be chosen by others and then restyled in a "customizing corner"

(remaking a wool dress)

But the real kick is when the celebs pop by with their own item and watch the audience go nuts. Greedy, greedy, greedy. But with Twiggy hosting a celeb roster of Sophie
Ellis-Bextor, Matthew Williamson, Lulu Guinness, Fearne Cotton and my fave, Róisín Murphy, the style factor is beyond rich.

I love in this clip how Róisín basically admits she's a male model whore, that Grace Jones is her idol and that these shoes are torturous unessentials. And then they make the audience earn they keep by professing how they'd style them and prove they can walk in them!

Could you just imagine this in America? Get BRAVO on the phone right now!
