Hey Iman, Wanna go to the Movies Tonite?

"I can't tonite darling, I'm co-hosting Housing Works' Design on a Dime"

That's right, Housing Works annual event where interior designers, fashion designers, photographers and design junkies of all walks of life are challenged to take a small space and decorate it to the hilt using just pieces donated to H.W. starts tonite. The big members opening reception, co-hosted by Mrs. Bowie, Nate Berkus, Lara Spencer and Charlotte Moss, is tonite and then the sale is open to the public the rest of the weekend

All proceeds go to Housing Works' Jefferson Avenue Residence Project, a new housing development in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn for people living with HIV. So buy last minute tickets online for tonite's shin-dig, or go this Friday or Saturday and buy your mom a nice tchotchke. Either way, support this great cause and great time.

Design on a Dime, 10am-6pm Friday and Saturday at the Metropolitan Pavilion,
125 W. 18th St. (btwn. 6th & 7th Ave.), http://shophousingworks.com/eventsdetail.cfm?entry=3892
